ようこそ！貸し別荘マチットフィーカ（matitto fika）へ。 九州の熊本県と大分県の県境、阿蘇の山並みから久住連山へと続く広大な原野の中にポツンと存在するこのレンタルコテージは、 既存の宿のスタイルを捨てて旅行者本来の自由度を高めた宿泊施設です。 春は野焼きの大炎から始まり、数々の山菜や野草が野山に立ちます。 夏は下界とはかけ離れた過ごし易さと鳥達の囀りを堪能し、 秋には紅葉に染まる山々を眺めつつ、 そして冬は一面銀世界へ変貌する遥かな原野を眺める悦びはきっとあなたの心の何かを変えるはずです。 もしここにおこしなるお客さまが都会の喧騒に疲れていたとしたら、 マチットフィーカと周囲の大自然はきっとそれを優しく包みこむ事でしょう。 駆け足の人生の歩みを少しだけ緩めて、元来傍にあるべき大自然のハンモックに身を揺らし、 後の日々のためにたっぷりと充電して気持ちよくお帰り頂く事が私たちが描く最大の望みです。

Welcome to our rental cottage "matitto fika". We had built matitto fika by ourselves for 4 months. Matitto fika is located on the mountain with beautiful scenery of the vast uncultivated fields of Aso. You will see Aso-gogaku called Nehanzo which looks like reclining Buddha from our cottage. We have a view as it changes from season to season. Each season has a color. Spring, the color is black. Summer, the color is green. Autumn, colors are red and yellow. Winter, it is white. It will be precious time to stay here away from the bustle of the big city. So we hope your stay will be a little bit slower than your every busy day.

Matitto fikaは短期から長期滞在にまで対応した施設です。 旅行者自身のペースやスタイルを尊重し、且つ施設自体は自然に溶け込む様に運営されています。 使用する洗剤などは合成石鹸は使わず、飲み水も久住の山並みより汲出した地下水を使用しています。 お茶の味や料理の味を最大限に生かせるその恵みにきっと満足していただけるかと思います。建物の概要はスウェーデン風角ログ材を使用して建築してあり、都市部に居住するお客さまにも違和感無くお過ごしいただけるようになっております。 また周囲には季節ごとに山菜が立ち、山の恩恵を得ることも楽しみの一つです。 背後に望む久住をトレッキングしたり、山野草の彩りを楽しんだり、 遥かに続く原野を散策したり、近くに湧き出る湧水や温泉を堪能する事をしてみませんか？ 観光という名の忙しい車での移動を繰り返すより、 一点に留まりその地の自然を再確認していただくことが私達マチットフィーカのもう１つの狙いであり希望でもあります。

Matitto fika welcomes our guests not only short stay but also long stay. We respect our guest's life style and their rhythm, and we also respect ecology of the earth. Soaps prepared in our cottage are made from natural ingredients. Ubuyama vl. is famous for its springs such as "Ikeyama suigen" and "Yamabuki suigen". We also use spring water from our well. It will bring out the flavor of tea, coffee or cooking. Matitto fika is located in the skirts of the Kuju mountain range. How about hiking just around matitto fika? Sightseeing which is busy traveling from place to place sometimes makes you too tired to know about the place. Stay here and spend few days, so you will find something about Aso. We "matitto fika" hope and are happy that our guests enjoy their stay and feel how wonderful nature we have here where you stay in Aso.
